You can use the timer on the dashboard
to program when you want the heater to start. While you're
still having breakfast, your heater is busy warming up the
car, so that, by the time you drive off, the windscreens and
windows are thawed, the temperature inside is nice and warm
and the engine is warmed up and ready to go.
Greater comfort, more safety
Having a pleasant temperature inside the
car as soon as you get in not only puts an end to freezing
starts to journeys - the same system also enables you to keep
the temperature constant even when the engine is idling or
you're stuck in traffic jams. What's more, it makes driving
in winter safer by preventing windows from steaming up and
providing excellent all-round visibility.
Kind to the environment - and the
engine
Cold starts increase engine wear and put
unnecessary strain on the battery. By reducing fuel consumption
and permitting a smooth engine start without the usual coughs
and splutters and excessive exhaust fumes, a pre-heater saves
plenty of time, trouble and money. Catalytic converters are
also more efficient when the engine is warmed up in advance.
Easy to install and service
This heater is small and compact enough
to be fitted in the engine compartment in one of three possible
positions. It can be connected from either side. All the main
components, such as the electronic control system, the water
pump and the fuel pump (in the case of diesel heating), are
built in. Since it is easy to install, it is also easy to
take out - very useful if you change cars and want to use
your heater in the new one.

The HYDRONIC
HYDRONIC is the name of a new generation
of heaters from Eberspacher - high performance, absolutely
reliable, easy-to-use hot-water heating systems which have
passed the test even in the harsh conditions of Northern
Europe.
Warms up the engine and the passengers
Connected to the engine's cooling circuit
and programmed to come on whenever you want, HYDRONIC heaters
pass their warmth on to the car's own heat exchanger. Warm
air flows into the cars interior through existing air vents.
What's more, by warming up the coolant, the HYDRONIC warms
the the engine and helps prevent cold starts.
The price is lower than ever
HYDRONIC is a successful heating system.
It is currently also being fitted as standard in turbo-diesel
vehicles as an ADD HEATER. The large numbers involved have
lowered the price - which is why the HYDRONIC heaters are
retailing at such a low price. Another positive cost factor
is their low fuel consumption: A HYDRONIC heater can provide
one hour's heating with around one quarter of a litre of
petrol or diesel.

Mini-timer
You can programme your heater to start
at the time you want using the digital timer with 24 hour
preset facility. Memory for 3 choices of time (surface
mounted on dashboard).

Remote control option
Alternatively you may want to choose
the remote control option which will activate the heater
up to a distance of 75 meters. The remote control can
be used instead of the timer control, or can be fitted
in addition to the timer for maximum flexibility. |
